Well, my profile allows me to apply for different categories. As a software engineer, and living in chelsea, I think I have got the right profile to apply for the regional "Computer & Internet" category.

Would be a shame to get rejected again. I will have to trust that I have not the right profile for dmoz then. Not the end of the world, a shame though.

the thing is: if I get accepted, I will have to keep that for myself. When you read all these posts about SEO who starve to get a listing in "THE" directory, you better keep it quiet if you are an editor. I'll visit the forum and ask them what thy think about that?

I am just wondering: will I have to remove my SEO hat for DMOZ, and remove my DMOZ hat for SEO? Even if I genuinely want to join the directory to help them keep the web clean, isn't there a conflict of interest here? mmmh, I'll ask that on the forum too...but no need to worry until I get the confirmation anyway.
