why google wallet?

Not very difficult to see why Google is working on a wallet. they just want to start competing with Yahoo stores...

Imagine the number of people who could potentially start selling online - trouble is: it takes for ever to set up a yahoo store.

Google will make it easy thanks to :
- free hosting
- proprietary wallet system
- free stats (Urchin)

Do you think they will add their ads on your site. Well, you will be left with the choice obviously. but why not starting making money with your online store once it is set up :-). And obviously, a free £20 voucher will be issued for each new store.
