seo and trademark

Actually, Weboptimiser has only trademarked its name; the list of terms in the right-hand column are generic terms, or "should appear frequently with the trademark."

The page does have the following note: "These generic terms are only suggestions, and there may be other words that are equally appropriate" - in other words, it's a random list that has no legal significance. I guess WO are just trying to be helpful (but end up confusing the issue).

It's curious that according to their own advice, WO misuse their trademark throughout the site by making the word possessive...

Just some kind of publicity/SEO stunt then ... Maybe running out of ideas for press release: how to stuff one single press release with all the keywords they want to rank for ;-)
