Won't sell under $1.5 Billions...

The New York post reports that Chad Hurley would not sell YouTube for less than $1.5 Billions. What is even more troubling is that some senior industry source say that they would be willing to pay for $200/300 Millions - while many of us try to figure out what YouTube business is...

Well, if I was Chad Hurley, I would sell it straight away.

Youtube has currently got $11.5 Millions funding from VCs, and intend to make revenue from advertising. Trouble is, we have seen all of that before - WEB1.0 and the bubble burst. Forget about the flaws (Copyright infringement), lack of solid revenue model, etc .. let's buy them before our competitor does it.
